Attractions:We start with city jaunting and visiting old texture, Karimkhan Castle, market, Vakil Bath and Mosque, and Nazar Garden. Karimkhan Castle with its high stature attracts any tourist. There are four towers and non-conquering bulwarks. Vakil Bath and Mosque in center of Shiraz show history of Iran. Nazar Garden is a beautiful sample of Shiraz’s gardens such as Eram, Afifabad, Delgosha, and Jahan-nama. Takht-e Jamshi historical complex distant from Shiraz about 50 km. Rostam Relief, Rajab Relief, Pasargad, and Kurosh Tomb are near Takht-e Jamshid. Archeologists and researchers have found that reliefs on Achamenian tombs are the same as Dariush Palace, so they succeeded to reconstruct the roof of Queen Palace upon it, which is called Takht-e Jamshid Museum now. Pasargad is registered globally and is protected by UNESCO. It takes us to when Kurosh, grandchild of Azhdahak, king of Mad, was born in Hekmataneh about 2600 years ago and could create one of the most powerful empires of the world.
Hafez is a poet that is inside hearts of people after many hundred years, and we open his poet book when we are dispressed. We visit Sa’di tomb since it is worthy after visiting Hafez’s.
Narenjestan or Ghavam Garden is a building for Qaja’s period, which has perpendicular external and internal axes. The external building was built for trade affairs, formalities, ceremonies, and accommodations.
Darvazeh Quran (Quran Gate) at north of Shiraz is located on the road to Isfahan among Babakuhi and Chehel-magham mounts, in Allah-Akbar neck. There is a historical building beside the main route called Quran Gate. This is nominated due to the Quran that was placed inside a room above the building.
